Defibrillator maker reports 20% increase in revenue.

2004 SEP 6 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- Cardiac Science, Inc., (DFIB), a manufacturer of automated public access defibrillators (AEDs) and provider of AED/CPR training and AED program management services, reported revenue for the second quarter and 6 months ended June 30, 2004, of $17.5 million and $33.1 million, respectively, a 20.5% and 16.0% increase from the $14.5 million and $28.6 million reported for the same prior year periods.

Revenue for the second quarter was within the range reported by the company in its preannouncement of July 7, 2004.

Revenue from sales of AEDs and accessories for the second quarter and 6 months ended June 30, 2004, totaled $13.8 million and $25.9 million, respectively, as compared to $13.3 million and $25.7 million for the year-earlier …
